A North Korea confirmed that it dynamited sections of roads and railways that connect the country to South Koreawhich he called a “hostile state”, announced state media this Wednesday 16th.
Confirming information released by the South Korean Army, the agency KCNA reported that the roads “were completely blocked by explosions”.
Pyongyang announced last week that it will permanently close its southern border and build defensive positions, after spending months laying mines and building anti-tank barriers.
It also accused Seoul of using drones to drop propaganda leaflets on Pyongyang and warned that a new drone presence would be considered a declaration of war.
About the destruction of roads and railways, the KCNA stressed that this is “an inevitable and legitimate measure, taken in accordance with the Constitution, which clearly defines South Korea as a hostile state.”
