The Superior Electoral Court makes available on its official website a voting simulatorso that voters can practice how they will vote next Sunday 6th, in the first round of municipal disputes.
To get started, simply click on the link above and, in the “Municipal Elections” tab, select “voting in the 1st round”.
The first choice is for the position of councilor. At the top of the virtual ballot box, five party options will appear: Sports, Musical Rhythms, Professions, Popular Festivals and Folklore.
For each of them there will be three candidate options. Just set the one you prefer and enter the corresponding number. If you make a typing mistake, you can press the “Correct” key to restart, as occurs with the electronic voting machine.
If the number is correct, press the “Confirm” button.
Next, voting will take place for mayor and vice-mayor, again with five party options. When choosing one of them, the respective candidates will appear.
Select one of the plates, enter the corresponding number and confirm with the green key. The ballot box will record the votes and show the word “END” on the screen.
Vote blank or null
If you do not have a preference for any of the candidates, just click the “Blank” button and then the “Confirm” button.
If you want to express your desire to cancel your vote, enter a number in the electronic ballot box that does not correspond to any candidate or party and press “Confirm”.
Blank and invalid votes are for statistical purposes only and are not counted as valid votes – therefore, they do not change the outcome of the election.
