On Wednesday night, the 16th, the Ministry of Finance released another update to the list of betting houses authorized to operate in the country at least until the end of the year.
The new relationship includes Reals Brasil LTDA, with the brands Realsbet, Uxbet and Netpix, and Esportes Gaming Brasil LTDA, with the brands Esportes da Sorte and Onabet.
In the case of Esportes Gaming, the inclusion occurred by court order, according to the Treasury. Now, there are 98 companies with more than 200 bets able to remain online until the end of 2024.
Esportes da Sorte sponsors five Brazilian Championship clubs: Corinthians, Bahia, Grêmio, Palmeiras and Athlético-PR (which announced at the beginning of October the suspension of its contract with the company).
As bets Those on the government list will need to pay the grant of 30 million reais to operate from January 1, 2025, when the regulated betting market in Brazil will come into effect. They will also have to permanently comply with the rules to combat fraud, money laundering and abusive advertising, among others.
