The Brazilian Association of Internet and Telecommunications Providers, Abrint, reported on Tuesday night 8 that it was still awaiting official notification about the decision of the Minister of the Federal Supreme Court Alexandre de Moraes to reestablish access to X (former Twitter) in Brazil.
It is up to Anatel to contact internet operators and request unblocking of the social network.
“Aprint reinforces that, as soon as notification is received, release can occur in a matter of hours”the entity announced in a note. “If the notification is received outside business hours, some providers may only resume service early in the morning of the following day.”
Moraes ordered Anatel to adopt “the necessary measures to implement the measure, informing this Supreme Court within 24 hours”.
Like what happened after the X blocking order, on August 30, the network will not work again at the same time for all users. The resumption of service will be gradual and will vary according to regions and operators.
