The holding company Aegea, which manages the company Águas de Teresina, won the auction for the concession of sanitation services in Piauí this Wednesday (30). The contract was sold for the minimum grant value of R$1 billion, and includes another R$8.6 billion in investments.
The company offered a 1% discount on the fare to be charged. In total, the contract provides for the provision of services for the next 35 years. The auction took place at B3’s headquarters, in São Paulo.
