Retail is already agitated for the arrival of Black Friday de 2024which will be on November 29th, a Friday. The great promotional event will have its 14th edition in Brazil, following a North American tradition of offering a discount package right after Thanksgiving (called, in the United States, “Thanksgiving Day”).
This year’s Black Friday should reach R$7.93 billion in revenue in e-commerce, growth of 10.18% compared to the R$7.2 billion recorded in 2023. The estimate is from the Brazilian Electronic Commerce Association (ABComm), which considers the period that extends from the week of Black Friday to the Cyber Monday day, on December 2nd.
According to ABComm estimates, this year, the average ticket for purchases should rise to R$738with an expectation of 10.7 million orders during the event. Compared to 2023, the average ticket was R$705, and the number of orders totaled 10.2 million.

Trips
For those who want to take advantage of the date to buy cheaper trips, the offers include discounts of up to 40% on cruises and airline tickets.
Costa Cruises also has travel offers across South America with more than 40% off. MSC Cruises has prepared its Black Friday with travel offers that can be purchased with discounts until December 1, 2024.
The promotions are 20% for shipments in Brazil and 40% for international shipments in South America, the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, the Canary Islands, North America and in the “Grand Voyages” mode — longer type of trip.
For air travel, consumers looking for cheaper air tickets can take advantage of promotions listed on miles websites. You can get tickets by paying up to 70% less in the total value of the ticket. But, first of all, it is important to plan your trip calmly, knowing the exact dates and where to travel. It is also possible to obtain discounts on points generated by airline loyalty programs and credit cards.

Jewelry
Some of the top jewelry brands are with discounts of up to 70% in products to boost sales this end of year. Offers are valid in physical stores and on brand websites. Vivara, for example, offers discounts on various pieces such as wedding rings, rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, pendants and watches. The promotion runs until December 2nd.
A classic ring in 18k white gold with tanzanite and diamonds goes for R$ 20.390. More affordable, an 18k gold ring with black diamonds, which costs R$7,550, costs R$ 5.990that is, 20% discount. All products can be paid in up to ten interest-free installments plus 10% of the value in cashback for future purchases.
Montecarlo offers up to 70% discount in jewelry. The most expensive piece is a necklace with London topaz and diamonds in 18k white gold, which is with 20% discountleaving R$ 177.200. Pandora has products with up to 70% discount during the month of November. Furthermore, the customer can pay for their purchases in up to 10 interest-free installments and guarantee free shipping on orders over R$690. For those who like crystals, Swarovski has 50% discount on Black Friday. A Florere cocktail ring, flower, yellow and lacquered in gold is with 40% discountgoing from R$3,000 to R$1,800.

For those who want to take advantage of Black Friday 2024 and buy bags from famous brands such as Hermès, Chanel, Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada and Gucci, you can find pre-owned products in luxury thrift stores with discounts that can reach up to 60 % of the original value.

Anyone who wants to stay away from the water and enjoys adventuring on dirt trails can buy a Can-Am off-road vehicle. At 50 inches wide, the Can-Am Maverick Trail 700 UTV is narrow and versatile in the off-road environment. It offers comfort, safety and reliability both on long expeditions and short trips and trails. The model costs R$100,900 and on Black Friday it can be purchased for R$90,900, a reduction of almost 10%.
