The third repatriation flight for Brazilians who were in Lebanon landed at the São Paulo Air Base, in Guarulhos (SP), at 8:20 am this Thursday 10th.
According to Itamaraty, the plane, a KC-30 model from the Brazilian Air Force, brought 217 passengers and five pets.
The aircraft, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, took off from Beirut at 1:15 pm on Wednesday 9th and made a stop in Lisbon, Portugal, before heading to São Paulo. According to the FAB, the plane left the Portuguese capital at 10:57 pm.
To date, the federal government has repatriated 674 people and 11 domestic animals from Lebanon. The Middle Eastern country is the scene of a conflict between Israeli forces and the extremist group Hezbollah.
