A Enel will present an investment plan to strengthen its electrical networks in Brazil, said this Monday (18) the CEO of the Italian energy group, Flavio Cattaneo.
After meeting with analysts to present Enel’s strategy for 2025-2027, the executive also said that the company intends to obtain the renewal of concessions in Brazilwhere it operates distributors in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Ceará.
In the new three-year plan, the state-owned electricity company said it would invest around €43 billion, €7 billion more than forecast in the 2024-2026 strategy. It also announced an increase in the minimum dividend to be paid to €0.46 per share, from €0.43 previously, and a simplification of the investor return policy.
