The National Electric System Operator (ONS) raised this Friday its forecast for the reservoir level of hydroelectric plants in the Southeast/Central-West in November, now estimating a capacity of 42.7% at the end of the month, compared to 40. 2% predicted last week.
The improvement in the projection for reservoirs in the region, which is the main one for storing hydroelectric plants, follows a forecast of greater rainfall in the month. The ONS now estimates that inflows will reach 118% of the historical average for November, compared to 103% predicted in the previous week.
In a bulletin released this Friday, the ONS also increased the rainfall estimate for hydroelectric plants in the North (90% of the average, compared to 79%) in November, while reducing the values for the South (83%, compared to 88%) and Northeast ( 85%, compared to 105%).

As for the energy load in Brazil, the agency projected stability of the indicator in relation to that recorded in November 2023, against growth of 1.0% predicted a week ago.
