The National Electric System Operator (ONS) raised this Thursday its forecast for the reservoir level of hydroelectric plants in the Southeast/Central-West to 44.8% of capacity at the end of November, compared to 42.7% predicted a year ago. week.
The upward revision accompanies an improvement in the expectation of rain that should reach the plants in the region, which is the main one for storing hydroelectric plants in the country, with the natural energy inflow reaching 124% of the historical average in November, against 118% predicted in the week previous.

At the same time, the ONS also reduced the forecast for the electricity load in Brazil, now projecting a drop of 1.5%, 79,811 average megawatts, compared to stability expected in the previous bulletin.
The agency also reduced its forecasts for rainfall in November at hydroelectric plants in the South (82% of the average, compared to 83% in the previous week), Northeast (72%, compared to 85%) and North (86%, compared to 90%).
