PetroReconcavo reported this Thursday (7) that it signed memorandums of understanding with Ultracargo, Shell and Porto de Pecém to develop projects for the flow, storage and commercialization of oil produced by the company.
According to the oil company, these agreements represent “an important step in the operational resilience plan”, with projects that could allow PetroReconcavo access to “new markets, ‘players’ and negotiation conditions”.
In the agreement with Ultracargo, from the Ultrapar group, technical studies will be carried out for the logistics of flow and storage of oil produced by PetroReconcavo through the ports of Aratu (BA) and Suape (PE).
The partnership with Shell provides for technical cooperation for the development of a logistical plan to develop the market for oil extracted by PetroReconcavo in Bahia and Rio Grande do Norte.

With the Pecém port complex, the feasibility of transporting crude oil extracted from the Potiguar Asset to the Ceará port will be assessed. The memorandum foresees the search for a short-term solution, with temporary logistics via waterway, as well as a definitive strategy, with Dislub Equador providing tankage for storage and connection to the Pecém port infrastructure.
