The board of directors of Petrobras approved this Friday (25) the continuity of the implementation of the Nitrogen Fertilizers Unit (UFN-III), in Três Lagoas (MS), foreseeing the start of operation of the plant in 2028.

“With the decision, the project becomes part of the implementation portfolio of the current Strategic Plan and Petrobras will begin the contracting processes to resume works at the Unit”, stated the state-owned company in a statement to the market, estimating investments of around R$ 3.5 billion to complete UFN-III, which had been in hibernation since 2015.
