A Vale reported this Friday (25) that its board of directors approved the appointment of Marcelo Bacci as financial director of the mining company, scheduled to start on December 2nd.
The position was vacant after Gustavo Pimenta to be elevated to CEO of the company.
Bacci is the current CFO of Suzanoa position he has held for over ten years.
He will now replace Murilo Muller, global director of Controllership at Vale who temporarily holds the position of financial director at the mining company.
Muller “will resume performing his regular duties at Vale on December 2,” Vale said in the statement.
Bacci’s departure from Suzano is scheduled for November 30, according to a separate statement from the pulp and paper company.
Earlier this month, Vale announced the departure of Marcello Spinelli from the position of executive vice-president of Iron Ore Solutions, a post assumed by the mining company’s director of Product and Business Development, Rogério Nogueira, on an interim basis.
