Hapvida reported this Thursday (5) that it signed a property lease agreement with adjusted construction, also known as “built to suit”, with Fundo Minas FIM for the construction of a hospital in the city of São Paulo that will be called Hospital Ibirapuera.
The terms of the agreement involve a maximum investment limit of 300 million reais for the acquisition of land and the cost of works, a “cap rate” of 8.5% per year, a lease term of 20 years — which can be renewed for another 20 years. — and option to purchase in “pre-determined periods and conditions”.
“The Ibirapuera Hospital, of high complexity, will have a maternal-pediatric vocation, capacity for 250 beds and will offer a premium health service, with high technology and differentiated hospitality”, stated Hapvida in a statement to the market.
“The hospital will also allow us to internalize part of the medical-hospital services that are currently carried out in an accredited network, as well as enabling the sale of products with higher ticket prices”, he added.
