The vote for the second round of the 2024 municipal elections ended late this Sunday afternoon (27). After counting the votes carried out by the TSE (Superior Electoral Court), the names of the new mayors and mayors were defined in 51 municipalities, 15 of which in the capitals of the Brazilian states.

In the first round, 11 capitals had already defined their elected representatives. The Federal District does not have an election for mayor. See below who will govern each state capital for the next four years:
