More than 34 million Brazilians returned to the polls this Sunday (27) for the 2nd round of elections for mayors of 51 cities in the country. The Superior Electoral Court (TSE) counts the votes in real time after the end of voting, starting at 5 pm Brasília time.
To follow the vote on your cell phone or computer, simply access the website resultados.tse.jus.br.
There are also two applications developed by the TSE, the Results and the Bulletin in Handallow you to monitor the votes entered in the ballot boxes across the country.

How to access the applications?

The Results app allows you to follow the total of elections in real time. When accessing, click in the top left corner to choose the election from those available. Select the State, the Municipality and click on the “Confirm” button.
After installing the app on your mobile device, simply add the Federation unit and the municipality for which you want to know the result. Once this is done, the voter will be able to consult everything about the candidates running for the positions of mayor and councilor in the selected city.
After being totaled by the TSE, the votes are transformed into files and published on the application, through which anyone can search for the results without the need for intermediaries.
The Boletim na Mão application allows anyone to check the results of the elections by reading the QR Code available on the Boletim de Urna (BU). The Ballot Ballot (BU) is an encrypted and digitally signed document. Contains an extract of the votes received by the candidates and parties in each electoral section. However, the document makes no connection between vote and voter. The BU also records the number of voters who voted, as well as the polling station that cast it.
With the app, voters, as well as poll workers, assistants and party inspectors, have quick and digitized access to the contents of the printed BUs at the end of voting at each polling station. This way, they can check the correspondence with the results totaled and released by the TSE after the vote.

Other applications
The TSE also provides other applications that can be used in elections.
The e-Título is the digital version of the electoral title that allows quick access to electoral registration information, such as voting zone and section, registration status and discharge certificates and electoral crimes. It can also be used to justify absence on voting day.
The e-Título application can be downloaded for free on platforms Google Play (Android) or App Store (iOS). According to the TSE, the application is only available for titles in regular or suspended status. Follow the following steps:
- When entering the application, access the “more options” item;
- Then select “Justification for absence” to place the order online;
- Using the app, addresses can be consulted to justify absence in person, under “In-person justification”.
This app makes it possible to report irregular electoral advertisements, allowing you to attach evidence of infractions. The updated version of the application can be downloaded for free from mobile device stores. Download atGoogle Play or inApp Store.
Pardal only receives reports of irregular electoral propaganda. Within the app, there is a button that directs complainants to the Electoral Disinformation Alert System (Siade) website, when the complaint involves disinformation, and to the Electoral Public Prosecutor’s Office, if the matter is related to an electoral crime or other electoral offenses. .
