This Wednesday, CCR won the auction for the concession of the road system for the Rota Sorocabana lot. The fight was disputed. After opening the envelopes with the respective proposals, CCR and Ecorodovias made 26 bid updates for the asset, which culminated in CCR’s victory, with the final price of R$1.601 billion, according to information from B3.
The auction involved a set of 12 highways covering a total of 460 kilometers that cross 17 cities in the Southwest region of the State of São Paulo. The project foresees investments in works that include duplication and additional lanes.

Resumption of concessions
The project was especially important for CCR, which had not won a concession in three years. The last one was the auction of the block of highways formed by Dutra and a section of Rio-Santos between Rio de Janeiro and Ubatuba (SP), in October 2021.
In a recent conversation with the InvestNewsthe president of CCR, Miguel Setas, said that the company is “putting its house in order to become competitive in auctions again”.
This Thursday (31), the auction of the Rota do Zebu, between Uberaba and Betim, in Minas Gerais, will take place. CCR’s participation is not confirmed.
