Sabesp (Basic Sanitation Company of the State of São Paulo) said this Tuesday morning, 22, that it was the victim of a cyber attack. So far, no personal data leaks have been identified according to the ongoing forensic investigation.
The company also reported that there was no damage to water supply and sewage collection and treatment operations.
In a statement, the company said it adopted all security and control measures and put into practice the plan to restore the affected systems.
In total, Sabesp is the main concession of sanitation services for 28 million customers.
