LWSA informed this Thursday that its board has started a succession process for the position of chief executive officer, which will be assumed by the current financial director, Rafael Chamas Alves, from February 2025.
LWSA, formerly Locaweb, said that the four-month process involves the appointment of Alves, who also holds the position of Investor Relations director, to director of operations, “in preparation for assuming the position of CEO”, according to a relevant fact . The position also involves assuming the role of Business Development director.
The company’s current CEO, Fernando Biancardi Cirne, will take up a seat on the company’s board of directors on February 10, according to LWSA. He spent 6 years leading the company.
The new financial and IR director of the technology services company will be André Kinjo Kubota, according to the minutes of the board meeting.
