Dasa announced the sale of its insurance brokerage and consultancy division, Dasa Empresas, to the Case group. The value of the operation was R$255 million, according to a statement from the diagnostics and hospital company.
Case will pay R$195 million upon closing of the agreement and a further R$10 million within 12 months after the signing date. The remaining R$50 million will be earn-out payments, that is, linked to the achievement of goals and performance over five years.

According to Dasa, “this transaction is part of a set of operational and strategic initiatives, with different stages of maturity, aimed at reducing leverage, establishing a solid financial position and increasing investment capacity in the company”.
